Tamu KPD (Fresh Mart Korporasi Pembangunan Desa)

Starting this year 2023, KPD resumes with monthly basis Tamu every Saturday from 6 am to 3 pm at KPD Tanjung Lipat Marketing Complex (Kompleks Pemasaran KPD, Tanjung Lipat).

The KPD started in the 80s with its purpose as a platform to provide opportunities to farmers from rural areas namely  Kota Marudu, Matunggong, Kota Belud, Kiulu, Tuaran, Kundasang, Papar, Tenom, Telupid, Keningau and other districts of Sabah to sell their produce directly to the consumers of Kota Kinabalu and surrounding township.

Apart from the 45 daily hawkers (Pasar Harian KPD Tanjung Lipat), a total of 50 to 70 vendors/farmers participate in the KPD Tamu, comprising various agricultural produce, food products, beverages, planting materials and services such as handicrafts and Food Trucks.

In addition of the activities, services from various government agencies are also available  namely the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), Sabah Credit Corporation, Sales of Products from KK Central Prison, Kota Kinablau City Hall (DBKK) and Mobile Dental Clinic which offer services according to their respective functions.
