Installation Art by the Bay @ KK is a Public Community Interactive Eco Art Tourism
Program. Since its inception in 2014, the event seeks to raise environmental awareness
through community and tourist involvement in creative, interactive installations that reuse,
recycle, and upcycle materials for a greener future. Each installation is thoughtfully crafted to
communicate four core values: Sustainable Development, Ecological Protection, Resource
Conservation, and Environmental Leadership.
Through the 3D installation pieces, the event emphasizes the importance of conservation
while nurturing appreciation for visual art as a vital part of holistic development.
The event also aims to establish Sabah as the Art Hub of Borneo and to promote Art
Tourism in Sabah.
