Malaysia Emergency Response Services (MERS)
Malaysia Emergency Response Services (MERS) is an integrated system combining the emergency services of five agencies: the Royal Malaysian Police (RMP), Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (FRDM), Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH), Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA), and Department of Civil Defence (DCD). It uses one ICT platform to handle and channel calls and emergency information through one number: 999.
