The temple is located approximately 4 kilometres from the Sandakan’s city centre. Be amazed with the interior of the temple which has a combination of red, gold and blue colours with different forms of gilt Buddhas, illuminated statues and pillars interwoven with writhing dragons.
When you visit the Puu Jih Shih Temple, you can witness ringing bells, large drum beatings, chanting monks, and an ethereal setting as the sun sets.
